Outside the Disney ecosystem as well, you’ll easily find suitable accommodation for every budget. Somewhere else on the spectrum lies the Holiday Inn Orlando in Disney Springs Area, offering tremendous value for email@example.com.
Although there are are hundreds of hotels throughout Orlando, one of the main reasons for staying in a hotel near Disney World is that you’ll be spending most of your time at the parks and resorts. COCOA BEACH AREA
Orlando is a city steeped in pleasure and fun. The place offers doses of life and style in equal measure, with a throbbing beach scene and delicious restaurants all mixed up with in signature Florida coastal charm. But one of the biggest attractions for the casual crowd is the famous Cocoa beach. From the southern side of Orlando, zoom across what the locals refer to as Beachline Expressway and connect with Highway A1A to arrive at Cocoa Beach. The beach is part of the 72-mile tract known as the Space Coast. If you drive further south, you’ll see miniature golf places and beach shops selling all sorts of trinkets and Florida kitsch.
The Cocoa Beach Pier where the real action’s at. This pier stretches 800 feet into the Atlantic and it is here that all the surfing competitions are held. Either side of the pier – north or south – is a fine place to just spread your blanket and soak up the sun. You can also mingle with the broad-shorts and bikini crowd, if that’s your thing. There are tons of restaurants, bars and shops around here, so you’ll run out of energy before you run out of things to do.
Cocoa Beach being one of the tourist attractions has many great hotels. As one would expect, there’s a whole range of options from Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront to Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel & Suites. Compares to some other locations in Orlando, we find the rates to be reasonable, even a tad lower than some other popular areas. It’s proximity to Port Canaveral makes it the ideal location if your trip involves a cruise.
PORT CANAVERAL AND CAPE CANAVERAL AREA
The second-busiest cruise port in the world needs a massive infrastructure to cope with millions of tourists it serves every year. It is no surprise, then, that Port Canaveral and Cape Canaveral are a stone’s throw away from each other. If you’re traveling with family, walking from Port Canaveral to Cape Canaveral might not be a good option. Using a transportation service, it will barely take 10 minutes, though. If you intend to explore some area down south, for example Cocoa Beach, but also want to be within 10 minute driving range of Port Canaveral to catch your cruise in time, Cape Canaveral region offers plenty of choices at very affordable rates.
On the higher end, Residence Inn by Marriott Cape Canaveral and Homewood Suites by Hilton Cape Canaveral are worth a look. Holiday Inn Club Vacations Beach Resort is the pick of the range for the luxuriously inclined travelers.
